Will You Work With a Real Estate Agent? Many homebuyers choose to work with a real estate agent to find a home. Since finding a home, negotiating the contract and closing the deal is such an important process, an experienced agent can provide guidance to help you avoid potential pitfalls. A reputable buyer’s agent should have vast knowledge of the real estate, price trends and neighborhood conditions. The agent will help you shop for your home, tour properties and be your negotiator, if bargaining over price is necessary. Who Is a Buyer’s Agent? A buyer’s agent is a real estate agent who represents only you and the purchase of your home. Be sure that you understand whom the agent is representing in a transaction. Remember that a seller’s agent is working for the seller - not you. Buyers are interested in getting the lowest price possible. If you decide to use a real estate agent, you should take great care in selecting one who meets your needs.

  • As a buyer, there’s typically no cost to you in working with a buyer’s agent.
  • Typically, the buyer’s agent receives part of the commission paid by the seller upon the sale of the home.

Step 6: The Road to Closing You’ll need to make a number of important decisions between applying for a mortgage and closing the sale. Premier can help you prepare. The “closing” occurs when the finalized loan documents are signed and the mortgage funds are disbursed. At this time, you will officially own your home! Step 7: Service Continues Once your home purchase is complete, our Premier Nationwide Lending representatives will be available to answer all of your questions during the life of your mortgage. Premier Nationwide Lending will be your Lender for Life.

Residential Mortgage Loan Originators

Jacqualine B. Wolcott began her career in 1996 with a well-known insurance company in Florida called Federated National Insurance Company, doing Tax, Tags and Titling as well as Homeowner’s Insurance and Commercial General Liability.

In 2001 Jacqualine started in the Real Estate Title Industry, working for two Real Estate Attorneys in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In 2005, she moved to Southwest Florida and worked for a small town Community Bank in Accounting and later moved into Residential Lending as a processor for the Loan Originators. In 2008, a newly-formed Commercial Community Bank found her and all that she had to bring to the table to assist with Policies and Procedures for Branch and Accounting Operations and worked directly under the CFO and CEO. Then in 2013, there was an opening in Commercial New Business Lending and real estate had always had her heart since Title days, so there she moved from Accounting to Lending, Residential Loan Servicing and Construction Administration. Until one day, the Commercial Community Bank was being sold to a Credit Union and the position didn’t seem very promising.

In August 2015, Jacqualine took a leap of faith to put her real estate knowledge up for the true test to become a licensed Loan Originator…And success! Here she is to provide service, experience and education to you as her client, as well as keeping you and your realtor informed throughout the entire loan process. With over 19 years’ experience, her approach to everything she has done has always been “hands on” which brings a different meaning to the word “experience”.
